Foundation For Rural Service, Youth Tour 2025

Congratulations to Mrs. Hammond's Foods & Nutrition class. These students passed their food safety and sanitation course and are now certified to work in the food service industry.

Ms. Sudweeks' Interactive Media (Intro to Photography class) have been learning about the components of the exposure triangle (ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed), and how to change the settings on a DSLR camera and a smartphone. Yesterday they got to put that knowledge to work as they changed the aperture settings and manipulated the "Depth of Field" to create scenes where toys enter unique scenery.

Mr. Perkins ecology class teamed up with BYU-I and the Saint Anthony Power Plant to do an electrofishing project. Students electrofish and net a mile of canal, collect all the fish, get data on them, and release them back into the river! It is a great opportunity for students to learn by doing!
