
Mrs. Hammond's classes have been busy this week. Teen Living classes started their sewing unit this week and are making Monster Pillows to be donated. Foods & Nutrition knocked it out of the park with their homemade version of Pizza Bombs. Culinary has been working hard on their Food Truck Final Projects that they will present next week to select judges. It's been a great week in the Family Consumer Sciences Department!








Mrs Weight's Theatre class and Ms. Sudweeks's Video Production classes are collaborating on a movie festival. They have applied their learning in acting, script writing, lighting, sound, recording, editing, and on set procedures as they work to create a final short film production. They will judge them at the end of the semester.




Fremont County Juniors were invited and enjoyed touring the beautiful CSI Campus and museum.
With the anticipated expansion of the Idaho Launch Program for the 2024 graduating class, I would encourage exploring the technical education programs offered at our Idaho Colleges.





Beginning Painting learned about Wayne Thiebaud and made a piece inspired by him. These paintings came out beautiful!!









Beginning Ceramics made Mario Karts! They came out great!











Our annual Greenhouse Sale is around the corner!! Come support our Ag department and get you some amazing plants and starters for your summer gardening/farming goals!


Crafts class learned about artist, Victoria Villasana, and made work inspired by her style. They practiced different embroidery stitches and combined it with a photo of their choice.








Advanced Drawing made stylized drawings of buildings to practice perspective, nice work guys!







Beginning Ceramics just knocked it outta the park with their Cultural Masks! Beautiful work guys!











Congratulations to Mrs. Hammond's Foods & Nutrition class. They have passed the University of Idaho Extension Food Safety and Sanitation course! These students are now certified for 5 years and ready to work in the food service industry.


Parents of Sophmores & Juniors,
The following opportunities are available this summer.
1-Madison Memorial Hospital has an Externship Opportunity for Sophomores and Juniors preferred to work in a hospital setting two days a week during the summer.
2-Fall River Electric has a Youth Rally Opportunity for Sophomores and Juniors to attend in Caldwell, ID July 10-15. The deadline to apply has been extended to April 30, 2023.



Sculpture / Wheel Throwing are doing such a great job with their new projects! Half the class is sculpting busts, the other half are practicing wheel throwing cups.







On Wednesday, the Ag Marketing & Business class went to take a tour of Sun-Glo in Sugar City. Super interesting with lots and lots of yummy potatoes! Very cool business to walk through. Thanks Weston Crapo!



Mrs. Hammond's Culinary Class toured two restaurants today! They started at Chick-Fil-A learning about the fast food industry, enjoyed lunch and complimentary milkshakes! Then they got spoiled at Texas Roadhouse and learned about Food Safety and the casual dining restaurant industry. They were spoiled with rolls and free appetizers. Texas Roadhouse also sent us back to school with free appetizer coupons for all the teachers and staff! Thank you Chick-Fil-A and Texas Roadhouse for a great day!







Seniors and early graduates! Tomorrow, April 19th, seniors will meet in the gym during first period to take a group picture for the newspaper. You do not have to have caps and gowns. We will call you down.

Vet science class has been studying companion animal breeds and recently finished the dog breeds segment. To wrap it up, they did a dog show! Each breed had to be made to breed specifications. It was a lot of fun to watch! Mr. Lagerstrom came over and helped judge.

Math 3 students had some fun creating and learning about the Unit Circle!





Our students just finished making some beautiful mugs for their sgraffito project. I love how creative our students are!
