The Vet Science class learned how to give fluids to grapefruits yesterday and learned giving different types of shots to bananas today! Thanks so much to Fremont Animal Care Center for donating our supplies!



Beginning Pottery made some beautiful coil projects!

NATIONAL CHILD ID PROGRAM. The schools have received a limited supply of National Child ID Program kits. These kits are free to parents/guardians. Each kit contains an inkless fingerprint kit, a medical info section, a DNS section, and an applicator to help collect personal information for your child. These documents are to be stored at home by the parents/guardians to be used in an emergency. If ever needed, you can provide this information to authorities to help reunite a missing child with your family. Contact your local school to request a kit.


The South Fremont Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Chapter attended State Leadership Conference in Boise Idaho this week. Four members competed in various events and all placed Silver! Congratulations to Starr Hernandez-Torres, Kelton Dillard, Luna Smith and Lexi Overton. We want to wish a big congratulations to Lexi Overton, who placed first in her event and qualified for Nationals. Another big congratulations to Starr Hernandez-Torres, our Chapter President, who was elected as a State Officer for this next upcoming year.
It has been a great week attending various educational workshops, gaining leadership skills and learning life long lessons.









Come support the DECA and BPA chapters in their efforts to raise money for Nationals! They will be selling concessions along with these hoodies at baseball and softball games today and next week!

Advanced Drawing learned about Medieval Art and Illuminated Manuscripts. Their assignment was to create a medieval meme with the illuminated style and they are absolutely awesome!

South Fremont High School is excited to announce thier new volleyball coach for the 2024 season will be Tyleigh Hill. Tyleigh is ready to takeover the reins of the Mountain Rivers Conference district champion volleyball program. Tyleigh has served as the jv volleyball coach for the past three seasons. we are excited for Tyleigh and our program.

Mrs. Hammonds Culinary class saw the fruits of their labors today. After 6 weeks of establishing sourdough starter and making basic sourdough recipes, they were able to master sourdough artisan loaves. They turned out beautifully.




Reminder: SFHS Parent / Teacher conferences are tonight, Mar 20th, and tomorrow, Mar. 21st, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The teachers will be in their classrooms.

Ms. Davis' Veterinary Science class was able to do pulse tests on Ms. Davis' dogs and talk about proper handling techniques.
