Congratulations to Mrs. Hammond's Foods & Nutrition class. Every student passed their Ready Set Food Safe Food Safety and Sanitation course. They are certified for 5 years and ready to work in the food service industry.


Students from South Fremont High School attended ISU's Tech Expo last week. They had the opportunity to have hands-on experience in many careers and visit with professional in those careers.


Advanced Ceramics has been rotating between several different projects. They are approaching some more challenging techniques like coil pot Tea set, solid start skull sculptures, boxes, and wheel throwing.











Advanced Drawing practiced pen and ink techniques, they turned out beautifully!






Ms. Davis' Ag Business class took the day to tour several ag businesses. We visited Ancient Grains, St. Anthony Point S, ProPeat, SunGlo, and Grimm Growers! Thank you to these businesses for hosting some of our kids and showing them some of the opportunities available right in our backyard!











Congratulations to our Scholastic's team! They took 1st place at Districts and 4th place at regionals.


Yesterday we hosted schools from all over East Idaho for the North Upper Snake River FFA district contests. We did a poor job of getting pictures of everyone, but we had several participants!

Natalee Abegglen competed in Prepared Speaking and Extemporaneous Speaking
Nat got 1st place in Extemporaneous Speaking! She will be representing the NUSR district and South Fremont at the state contests in April in Twin Falls! Congrats to Natalee!



Fremont Joint School District 215 will conduct its annual Kindergarten Screenings from March 25th through March 28th, 2024.
All kindergarten-age students enrolling for the 2024-25 school year are required to register for and attend this universal screening. Students entering kindergarten who are currently enrolled in our preschool programs and receiving special education services WILL NOT need to participate in the screening.
Please contact the secretary of your enrolling school to register your child for the screening on or before Thursday, March 21st.

February 26th-28th, 2024 8 of the 13 South Fremont High School DECA Chapter members traveled to Nampa Idaho and competed among other students from across the state in various Business, management, and marketing competitions at the 2024 Idaho State Career Development Conference. Top 3 placers in Individual events and Top 2 in Project Management Events qualify to compete at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) this End of April in Anaheim!
All 8 students qualified in at least one of their competitions. Natalee Abegglen placed top 2 in both her events!
Ivan Brown and Symorah Hinshaw also got awarded top exam scorers for scoring 70% or higher in the exam portion of their events showing proficiency in those content areas!
Their hard work and dedication this year showed in these results as these competitions aren’t easy!

Congratulations to the SFHS TSA club for competing in the State Leadership Conference in Meridian last week! They represented our school with honor in Music Production, Problem Solving and CAD Engineering.




We will be holding the U.S. Government Trip Parent Meeting tonight, Mar. 5th, at 7:00 PM in the Little Theater.
